[ Dobson Hall Photo ] Constructed in 1976, Dobson Hall is home to MNU's Division of Fine Arts. This two-story building was originally named the American Heritage Building, but when the founding head of the art department, Rev. James Dobson, died of a heart attack that same year, the building was renamed in his honor. In addition to music practice rooms, Dobson contains an art studio, a band room, classrooms, and faculty office. Richard Amen Auditorium, named for a late friend of the univeristy, provides a modest setting for recitals and musical performances.
