Criminal Justice RequirementsMajor in Criminal Justice (30hrs)(See General Education Electives for the Bachelor of Arts) To complete a major in criminal justice all students must complete a series of core courses totaling 30 credit hours. In addition to the required core courses, criminal justice majors must also take a minimum of 12 additional hours of criminal justice elective courses for a total of 42 credit hours. CRIM 1003 Survey of Criminal Justice Major Elective requirements In addition to the required core courses, criminal justice majors must also take a minimum of 12 additional hours of criminal justice electives courses. Elective courses are offered on a periodic, rotating basis and may consist of additional courses not listed in the Catalog.
