For Students & Parents
The Department of Behavioral Sciences offers scholarships to declared Psychology and Sociology majors each year. Awards and amounts may vary annually. Information about available scholarships are posted each spring. Applications for each award may be downloaded below or obtained in the department office, Metz 201. Electronic or manual submissions are accepted.
Applications are available in February of every year and should be returned to the Behavioral Sciences secretary by the deadline indicated. For questions about the scholarship, please see the contact person listed. For the 2011-2012 award year, the following scholarships may be available for award:

The recipient will submit a completed application, essay, and:
- Must be an African American Student.
- Should embrace and live out the Christian lifestyle.
- Should demonstrate promise in their chosen academic discipline of psychology or sociology (declared)
- Should exhibit academic strength and commitment.
- Should be at a junior grade level.

The recipient will submit a completed application, essay, and:
- Must be a declared Psychology major with at least 18 credit hours in Psychology completed
- Should embrace and live out the Christian lifestyle.
- Should demonstrate promise of pursuing a career in a helping profession.
- Should exhibit academic strength and commitment.
- Must have current sophomore or junior standing.
