Organizational Leadership

How do you want to lead? In this major you’ll chose from one of many tracks: business, Christian education, ministry, intercultural studies, social justice, psychology and youth ministry. You’ll learn how to lead in your area of interest by studying topics in management, leadership, business ethics and more.

Uniqueness

At MNU our international opportunities are wide open. You can travel abroad to widen your intellectual horizons and build international connections. Students have even spent summers overseas with special organizations like the International Business Institute.

When you graduate with your degree in Organizational Leadership from MNU you’ll have access to some of the biggest names in the Kansas City area- providing great opportunities for internships and careers.

Alumni

Graduates of the business program pursue their education at Kansas University, Kansas University, University of Missouri Kansas City, MidAmerica Nazarene University, University of Nebraska, Dallas Baptist University, Rockhurst University, Kansas University Law School, Washington State University, Washington University in St. Louis and more. Alumni are employed at Edward Jones, Deloitte and Touche, Farmland Foods, Sprint, General Motors, Black and Veatch and more.

We have many successful alumni who are making a difference in their communities today. For example, Chad Cook (‘95), who earned a degree in business administration from MNU before earning an MBA and JD from the University of Kansas. He’s now a lawyer with Lathrop & Gage, developing real estate documents for corporate clients and representing clients in healthcare transactions. Or John Ream (‘05), a double major in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership, who is now an Analyst for Deloitte Consulting, working with Fortune 500 clients from a range of industries. Or Patti Bilka (‘06), a major in Communications/Business Administration, who’s currently employed as a Junior Research Analyst for the Sunflower Group, a promotional services firm in Overland Park, Kansas.
