Youth and Family Ministry Major

If your gifts and experiences draw you toward a lifetime connection to adolescents and their families, the Youth and Family Ministry major will equip you to serve Christ as you serve them. You will begin by digging into the life of personal discipleship and exploring your gifts, talents, and personality to understand the shape of effective youth ministry flowing from your own life.

You’ll get hands-on training in area churches and Christian organizations that involves you in transformation and gets you in on equipping others for youth ministry in a family context.  Your perspective will be informed by the Wesleyan holiness tradition, focusing on transformation, Christlikeness, and compassion, and how young people can be examples for other believers in life, in faith and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12).
