MNU’s Bible & Theology major contrasts biblical narrative with beliefs of other religions and compares historical Christian theological traditions from the early church fathers to contemporary writers. This major gives practical means to cultivate a love for God and others through intensive study.

Uniqueness

This major offers the most intensive study in Old and New Testament courses, biblical languages and systematic/narrative/historical approaches to theology. You’ll focus on development of mind and intellect rather than for skills and practice of ministry, as well as build on the scriptural foundation to prepare for graduate studies and a teaching career or for additional seminary work toward pastoral ministry. This program also consists of fewer credit hours, so it allows space for a double major, combining Bible & Theology with a study in your primary discipline.
