Biology Education

Studying this major, you’ll also become confident and knowledgeable in the design, implementation and assessment of science instruction and curriculum in ways that will allow your future students to learn easily.
Elementary Education
This major prepares you to instruct students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Pre-service teachings in this program get training and hands-on learning from field-based experiences in reading, mathematics, science, English and language arts, social studies, physical education and fine arts at elementary level.
English Language Arts Education

History & Government Education
Study topics in U.S. History, World Civilization, Democracy in America, Comparative Political Systems, Economics, Sociology, World Geography, Classroom Management, Technology with Curriculum and Curriculum Development. Become a part of ensuring that young people learn tools to advocate politically for themselves and issues they care about through education.
Mathematics Education
Math teachers play a very important role in society. Math is one of the basic skills that kids must master – it’s a core competency for productive adults, but it’s also the foundation for careers in science and technology. As a music teacher, you’ll be able to share a wonderful gift with your students; the ability to perform and appreciate music will provide rewarding experiences for the rest of their lives. Phsyical Education
Many Physical Education majors become P.E. teachers. But physical education isn’t confined to gym class. With a background in physical education, you could also become an athletic instructor, a fitness coach or a recreation manager.
Speech/Theatre Education
As a speech and theatre teacher, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help young people express their ideas, explore their emotions and communicate more effectively. Speech teachers work in public and private schools, private practice, corporate settings, intervention programs and more. They might work with children, teenagers or adults, individuals with speech disorders or impediments, or those who simply want to express themselves more clearly.
