School of Education and Counseling

Through lecture, practicum, student-teaching and experienced faculty, the School of Education and Counseling at MNU prepares you better the world around you through the power of education. Our professors have recent and relevant experience in public and private schools. Our program relies heavily on practicum and a hands-on experience in the classroom. You’ll learn how to teach, and put that knowledge to good use in the classroom. Our program enjoys a close relationship with some of the best school districts in the nation. You’ll observe, tutor, design instruction and teach in great schools with some of the best teachers.

The Department of Education is state accredited through KSDE (Kansas State Department of Education) and also nationally accredited through NCATE (National Council for Accredidation of Teacher Education).
