Theatre Minor

Transform your love of theatre into a profession. With courses in acting, technical theatre, directing and multiple workshop courses, this minor will develop effective and creative communications in the art of theatre.

Theatre is one of the oldest art forms. Developing skills in performance, directing and stage management requires both study and practice. But theatre is also a form of communication—a way of expressing emotion and sharing ideas. So theatre can serve as a powerful avenue for connecting with others. Since theatre majors develop their skills in creativity, communication, problem solving and intuitive thinking, theatre also provides a strong foundation for careers that involve working with people.
