Corporate Communication

Bachelor of Arts

What makes a business or organization successful? One of the most important factors is an ability to effectively share its mission and message with customers, stockholders and the community. So good communication is key to every business enterprise. As a communication and business major, you’ll have the ideal background to perform a number of valuable roles in business, marketing, communications and public relations.

As a major in communication and business at MidAmerica, you’ll take courses in public speaking, mass media and society, personal communication, cross-cultural communications and public relations, along with courses in financial accounting, marcoeconomics, management and marketing.

Why MNU?

Small class sizes and dedicated professors mean you’ll form close relationships with your classmates and teachers, encouraging a collaborative environment and active participation.

Study abroad opportunities enable students to expand their intellectual horizons and build international connections. Students have studied in Europe at special summer programs through the International Business Institute.

Hands-on learning experiences such as internships, service learning and collaborative projects help students integrate theory and practice. Business-related student organizations offer an opportunity to get involved, build your resume and make friends.
