There are many reasons for entering the teaching profession. For some it is because of the influence of past teachers, for others it is the love of working with kids, others it is the love of the subject, and for some it is the love of the teaching-learning process. What ever the reason, teaching is a wonderful field to enter. Never has it been more crucial than today. You will have the opportunity to work with students from all walks of life. While maybe not immediate your work will impact hundreds of lives.

At MNU, you can choose from two majors:

  • Elementary Education (kindergarten through sixth grade)
  • Secondary Education (sixth through twelfth grade)

See the Undergraduate Admission Requirements for more information. Students who plan to teach in the secondary grades are advised to major in the academic field of their choice.
