Mission Statement
The mission of the Athletic Training Education Program is to prepare students, within a Christian, Wesleyan-Holiness liberal arts tradition, to serve God and the physically active in a caring and compassionate way. A comprehensive educational and clinical foundation will be provided to prepare students for employment in this allied health profession. Formal instruction in the prevention, care and rehabilitation of the injuries incurred by the physically active will be the basis of the educational program. The course work, along with the clinical experiences provided, will prepare the students for the NATABOC examination. Upon successful completion of the exam, these students will qualify for entry-level positions in the Athletic Training profession.
