Director of Athletic Training Services
ERIC WALSER,

A 1980 graduate of Anderson (IN) University, Eric joined the MNU staff in the fall of 1984 after earning his Master of Arts degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. In addition to being the Director of Athletic Training Services, he is an Associate Professor in the ATEP. Classroom instruction, sport coverage, clinical supervision of students, recruiting, retention, and community relations are just some of his responsibilities.

Eric has served as an athletic trainer for several National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national championships, including Indoor Track and Field, Men's Basketball, Men's and Women's Tennis. He has worked as an intern athletic trainer with the Kansas City Chiefs during three training camps. Eric is also involved with the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification where he has served as a Test Site Administrator and as a chairman of the Exam Day Administration committee.

CHAD KELLER,

[ Chad Keller ] Chad graduated from MNU in 2000 with Bachelor degrees in Athletic Training and Criminal Justice. Shortly after graduating in 2000, he became a police officer in Leawood, KS. Realizing his desire to be back in athletic training, he joined Professional Rehabilitative Services (PRS) and worked as an athletic trainer in the clinical setting. During his 2 years with PRS he also provided outreach sport medicine services to a variety of high schools in the Kansas City Metro area. Wanting to return to the college level as an athletic trainer, he was hired as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS during the 2002-2004 academic years. Upon hearing of the opportunity to return to MNU, he enthusiastically accepted the position. He comes back to MidAmerica with a Master's degree in Education from the University of Kansas and will be a valuable asset to the Athletic Training Education Program as an associate professor.

Jennifer has been at MNU since 2000. She earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Physical/Health Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She then went on to earn her Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. While a Graduate Assistant at North Central, she had the opportunity to work with the college athletes on an everyday basis and covered many National events. She also had the experiences of working with teams such as the Schaumberg Flyers and the Women's Professional Football League athletes. Jen currently serves as the ATEP Director, as well as an assistant professor and athletic trainer. She is also pursuing her EdD from Saint Louis University.

Team Physician
GREGORY P. LYNCH, M.D.
[ Gregory Lynch ] Dr. Lynch earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Boston University. This was followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center where he served as assistant team physician for the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Twins and the University of Minnesota football team. Dr. Lynch joined Johnson County Orthopedics in August 1999 and he is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. His interests are in sports medicine and general orthopedics, and he is currently the team physician for MidAmerica Nazarene University and Ottawa University. He is also a consultant for the Olathe high school athletic teams. Dr. Lynch enjoys travel, sports and spending time with his family.
