Guatemala –Senior Nurses Trip Jan 2 – 11
Dr. Delia Pittman will take senior nurses to the highlands of Guatemala to provide medical treatment to the orphaned children of the region. They are collecting medical supplies, toys and hygiene products to take with them. Donations appreciated.

Arizona, Sun Valley Indian School May 16 – 23
Education majors and the Men’s Basketball team, led by Dr. Jo Lamar and Coach Rocky Lamar, and assisted by student leader Amanda Badley, will return to help the SVIS staff teach the children and youth of their boarding school Christian character through academic lessons, an after school basketball camp and music camp. $1000 Contact: jlamar@mnu.edu, adbadley@mnu.edu
Jazz Band – Europe
Prof. Ron McClellan and the Jazz Band will tour and minister in Europe, helping our churches in outreach to their communities.
EUNC and Mainz, Germany May 10 – June 2
Team leaders, Emilie Beckum, Emily Rook, Taylor Bottles and Stephanie Griggs will take a team to European Nazarene College in Switzerland for a two-week class and then train up to Mainz, Germany, to support the church planting team in ministry and outreach. Dominican Republic May 8 - 15
Student leader, Arodi Sanchez, will take a team to his home country in the Caribbean to paint a church, minister through a sports camp outreach and Vacation Bible school. MNU STUDY ABROAD OPPORTUNITIES
EUNC - European Nazarene College (www.eunc.edu) and www.buesingen.de (click on the British flag for English) Spend a semester in Switzerland during your junior or senior year, studying in the areas of Religion, Christian Education and Missions. Expand your view of the world and the Church as you increase your global perspective and passion for missions. EuNC is an international community with students from 15 - 20 countries. Many opportunities exist for cross-cultural interaction and learning, both on and off-campus.
Students may apply through the MNU Center for Global Studies and Service Learning for the Semester in Europe program or by downloading the Application (PDF 35.81 KB Help ) and Recommendation Form (PDF 18.31 KB Help ). For the application, you will need to request your official current transcript in a sealed envelope, have two passport pictures for your visa, and give a reference form to Kristi Keeton Associate Dean for Student Development. EuNC Tuition, room and board (weekly main meals at noon hour): ($5030, half-tuition only for 2008-2009 academic year) Other costs: travel, passport, visa, insurance, books, breakfast and supper food costs (often done in community with other students) and personal expenses.
