RN to BSN Program

The RN to BSN Completion option is a program for those who are already licensed Registered Nurses who have completed a diploma in nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing. The RN to BSN program provides a way for RNs to complete the nursing core requirements for the BSN degree in one calendar year.

RN to BSN students meet the same general core requirements as the traditional BSN nursing student. RN to BSN program nursing core courses are offered one day a week in five week modules.

NURS 3103 Pharmacology (3 cr hr)
NURS 3803 Biblical Perspectives (3 cr hr)

Module Three (Semester One)
NURS 4603 Health Assessment for Nurses (3 cr hr)
NURS 3503 Probability and Statistics (3 cr hr)

Module Four (Semester Two)
NURS 3303 Pathophysiology (3 cr hr)
NURS 4303 Ethical Issues in Healthcare (3 cr hr)

Module Five (Semester Two)
NURS 4085 Health Promotion Individual/Family/Community (5 cr hr)

Module Six (Semester Two)
NURS 4203 Healthcare Economics (3 cr hr)
NURS 4903 Special Topics in Nursing (3 cr hr)

Module Seven (Summer)
NURS 4185 Role Development (5 cr hr)

Module Eight (Summer)
NURS 4703 Nursing Research/Informatics (3 cr hr)

All nursing courses taken from an accredited college or university will transfer automatically upon acceptance at MNU.
