The University is authorized to offer associate, baccalaureate, and the master of arts in organizational administration, master of education, master of educational technology, master of business administration and the master of counseling degrees.
Accreditation of the teacher education program has been achieved from the Kansas State Board of Education. The nursing major has received approvals from the Kansas State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The Division of Education at MidAmerica Nazarene University is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), 2010 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036; phone (202) 466-7496. This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs and advanced educator preparation programs.
NCATE is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit programs for the preparation of teachers and other professional school personnel.
The traditional business programs are accredited by the ACBSP (Association of Council for Business Schools & Programs).
