 Duties

Serve as Chairperson of the Class Council and Commuter Council.

Meet at least once a month with Class Presidents.

Meet at least once a semester with entire Class Council.

Plan and organize Class Council retreat with the help of the ASG President.

Collect Presidential Court of Review forms at the ASG Congress each month.

Coordinate Class Council faculty/staff advisors.

Responsible for finding new advisors for incoming freshman class council or replacements for any exiting advisors.

Each advisor is required to attend ASG Extravaganza, all ASG Congress meetings, and all Class Council meetings held by the class council at the scheduled time.

Make sure each advisor is granted the stipend amount for each semester. Half will be given in November and half in March of the following semester.

Organize and manage an event in the Tipping Point twice a month each semester.

Oversee and coordinate elections, adhering to all guidelines listed in Article V, Section 3.

Executive Elections in early spring semester.

Class Council elections in April.

Freshmen elections in September.

Compile a list of all active campus clubs/organizations, including advisor and current contact person by the October ASG Council Meeting.

Receive and review the charter of each club/organization.

Serve as a student representative to the Institutional Advancement Planning Committee and Board of Trustees.

Serve as student representative on the Institutional Advancement Planning Committee and Board of Trustees.

Work with Class Council to plan:                   

One class party per semester.

Two class service projects per year, one on-campus and one off-campus.

One school wide event per semester.

One class chapel per semester

Taking responsibility with the class councils to oversee the Third-Half.

Oversee a forum for the candidates for the Executive Elections in February.

To be an active full voting member of the Executive Council of Student Government including the following responsibilities:

Attend all Work Weeks (May/August/January)

Attend LEAD Day

Attend ASG Council and Congress Meetings

Attend weekly ASG Executive Cabinet meetings

Attend the Legacy of Leadership Banquet

Attend Nazarene Student Leadership Conference (NSLC)
