Junior distance runner Noah Too won the 5000 Meter Run at the 2007-2008 NAIA Indoor National Championship over the weekend. His time of 14:50.97 was less than a second ahead of the second place finisher.

The Men's team competed at Central Missouri State University on Friday and came home with a couple of season-best performances. Leading the Pioneers was junior Noah Too who finished the night with a first place in the 3000 meter race in a time of 8:44.21. Shantel Llewellyn continued to be a powerful force in the short sprints where she came away with a 3rd place finish in a field of 27 in the 60 meter dash. The Women's and Men's track team traveled to Ames, Iowa to compete in the ISU Open last Friday and Saturday, January 25th and 26th. The meet consisted of NCAA Division I and II institutions along with some of the strongest Junior Colleges in the nations. The MNU track team competed at Missouri Valley on Saturday.  Chelsea Tally won the high jump and jumped high enough (5'5") to earn an automatic national qualifying mark.  Also winning events were Amber DeHaan (mile), Natalie Lingenfelter (600), Valentine Chebogut (800), Linah Chelagat (1000), Vanessa Weltmer (3000), and Brandon Agee (triple jump).
