MNU Volleyball

Why would you want to play volleyball at MidAmerica Nazarene University?

MNU is looking for quality young women who are interested in playing volleyball and receiving a top-notch Christian education at the same time. The Pioneer program is centered around each player as an individual. If you are a player that wants to improve on your individual skills and conditioning, learn what positive attitudes can do for a team, be surrounded by a Christ-centered atmosphere, and receive a quality degree, then MNU is for you. Our team's motto is:
Coming together is a beginning . . .
Keeping together is progress . . .
Working together is success!

The Pioneer program is fortunate to have a quality coaching staff to work with the players on a one-on-one and day-to-day basis. Coach Ryden is expecting some great things to happen this season with the help of her coaching staff.

One of the most exciting things about Lady Pioneer volleyball is the Wellness Center (complete with four gym floors, weight room, classrooms, training room, swimex, lecture hall, offices, and nursing classes and labs). The Wellness Center even has a small chapel in it for students, professors, and staff to use whenever the need arises. This state-of-the-art facility is used by athletes, students, and the surrounding community. The Wellness Center has helped improve our volleyball program in a lot of ways. We have more gym space to practice on, we are able to host tournaments, we do not have to start off our season in 120 degree temperatures, and we are able to host summer camps. Everyone will want to come out and see this facility. If you are in the area, please be sure to stop by for a game or a visit.
