Head Coach Rocky Orton is in his 6th year at MNU. He started the MNU Soccer program and has had great success. Coach Orton grew up playing soccer in Oklahoma and has played for 29 years. He also played 6 years professionally in the USISL. He has coached High School Girl's soccer and Premier soccer clubs for 18 years in Oklahoma and Kansas. He also currently coaches with the Kansas City Soccer Club (KCSC). He holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma. Coach Orton graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology, and went on to get a Graduate degree from Webster University in Counseling Psychology. Coach Orton is married to Marlo, and has 2 daughters, Kenedy and Shelby.

Assistant Coach Beth Richards is in her 2nd year of coaching at MNU. Coach Richards has played soccer for 21 years for various club teams and at MidAmerica Nazarene University. She has been coaching premier Girls and Boys club teams for 4 years. She is currently coaching at Shawnee Mission West high school with the Junior Varsity Team and coach’s premier soccer teams with the Kansas City Soccer Club. Coach Richards currently holds her NSCAA National Diploma. Coach Richards graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and a Minor in Psychology.
