Eligibility

Read this to determine if you are eligible for intramural play. If you still are not sure after reading this, please ask the Intramural Director.

INTRAMURAL ELIGIBILITY RULES
1. The following groups are eligible for intramural competition:
  a. All undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at MNU.
  b. All full-time and part-time faculty and staff
2. Alumni are not eligible for intramural competition unless they meet either of the criteria in eligibility rule 1.
3. Any person whose name appears on a varsity, junior varsity, or freshman roster will be ineligible for that intramural sport during that school year. This shall include all players who are "red shirted" in any sport or anyone who practices regularly with the team and receives a scholarship but does not participate in intercollegiate competition.
4. No player may participate on two teams of the SAME sport and may NOT switch teams during the season.
5. All Roster additions must be made 24 hours before actual playing time for the person added to be eligible.
  a. Team captains are responsible to CHECK their team's eligibility. All games played with an ineligible player will be FORFEITED
  b. In all intramural sports, players must play in at least 50% of the regular season games to be eligible for tournament play. Exceptions must be cleared with the Intramural Director.
  c. Any team found to have eligibility violations during tournaments will be dropped from further competition in that sport. (This includes assumed names, playing on too many teams, etc.)
