Clinical Coordinator

As the Clinical Coordinator of the Community Counseling and Play Therapy Center, Danna oversees the day to day operations of the Center. In addition to her role as Clinical Coordinator, Danna is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor and maintains a case load of her own clients. Danna was a member of MNU's first Master of Arts in Counseling class and is currently an adjunct professor in the program. She and her husband, Kevin, have two sons, Tyler (TJ) and Trevor. Rebeca Chow, LCPC, LPC, RPT/S

Play Therapy Certificate Program Coordinator

Rebeca Chow is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Missouri/Kansas and a Register Play Therapist Supervisor, specializing in using play and art therapy techniques in clinical practice with children, adolescents, adults and families. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with honors from the Universidad Autonoma de Centroamerica in Costa Rica and her Masters in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family from the University of Missouri Kansas City.

Rebeca has worked in various settings including Johnson County Community College, Safe Home Domestic Violence Shelter, Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault, and Mattie Rhodes Counseling Center providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults, children and families.  Rebeca is actively involved in the play therapy community and serves on the Kansas Board of the Association for Play Therapy. Rebeca presented at the 2006 APT national conference in Toronto, Canada on her work with using play therapy with Adult Sexual Abuse Survivors.
