Matt Gow is a reach-for-the-top, sky’s-the-limit type of person. He searches for the best in himself and his surroundings ... which is why he picked MidAmerica. “I chose MNU because of its elite athletic programs and the elite academic programs,” Matt says.
A member of the Pioneer men’s soccer and JV basketball teams, Matt has no shortage of opportunities to prove himself as he balances sports and Marketing classes.
“I want to use Marketing to be able to promote Christian-based, non-profit organizations,” he relates. “I want to help market the love that Jesus has for all people.”
Matt also serves with the Youthfront Camps Ministry; yet his job is not as a typical camp counselor, but serving those counselors. “I volunteer my time to meet with former high school students who were employed by Youthfront Camps during the summer.”
Matt encourages incoming students to strive to overcome obstacles, but he knows this is not always a solo task. You need others who want you to succeed. “Scholarships mean so much to me,” he says. “ Without them I could not attend college and pursue my goal of having a postive impact on a Christian-based organization.”
