Hometown: Marshfield, MO
"Scholarships are the only reason I've been able to attend MNU."
Perfect fits are evident after the parts come together. That has been Malorri Seamon’s repeated experience at MNU. “I knew when I received my call to youth ministry that this was where I wanted to be,” Malorri said. “I visited several other campuses and I just didn’t feel peace anywhere until my official MNU visit.”
MNU wasn’t always in the plans for Malorri. Determined and bright, she had considered MIT or Cornell for architecture before God showed her that her true passion lay in ministering to youth. A love for art and and her practical mind added an interesting minor. “Considering most youth pastors are bi-vocational, I decided not only to pursue my major in Youth Ministry, but the minor in Graphic Design as well. It couldn’t be a better fit for me.”
Relationships chalk up another life-long fit for Malorri. “The friendships I’ve made here at MNU are more substantial than any I have ever developed in my life. I’ve met my husband here and my best friends.”
Discovering a spouse and learning an occupation at MNU certainly can make you pretty thankful. Yet Malorri knows that in addition to her own hard work, the generosity of others were essential to her feelings of being abundantly blessed.
“Scholarships are the only reason I’ve been able to attend MNU. The Bresee Scholarship and Ministerial Student Scholarship will be responsible for me having zero debt when I graduate.”
