Education Department

There are many reasons for entering the teaching profession. For some, it is because of the influence of past teachers, for others it is the love of working with kids or the love of the subject -- or both -- and for some it is the love of the teaching-learning process. Whatever the reason, teaching is a wonderful field to enter and never has it been more crucial than today.

As a teacher you will have the opportunity to work with students from all walks of life. In doing so, you will have an impact hundreds of lives.

At MNU, you can choose from three majors:

  • Elementary Education (kindergarten through 6th grade)
  • Secondary Education (sixth through 12th grade)
  • All level Education (Prekindergarten through 12th grade)

The Department of Education operates under the School of Education and Counseling. See the Undergraduate Admission Requirements for more information. Students who plan to teach in the secondary grades are advised to major in the academic field of their choice.
