Dr. Ramona Stowe is currently the Program Coordinator of ESOL at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU).

 

In this position, she developed and teaches graduate level ESOL endorsement and masters level courses to in-service teachers. She also teaches an undergraduate level cultural diversity class. In 2007, Dr. Stowe graduated from Kansas State University with a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESL. She holds an English as a Second Language endorsement from the state of Kansas. Prior to coming to MNU, Dr. Stowe spent 14 years in an urban school district with a high population of English Language Learners (ELLs) as a teacher, assistant principal and principal.
