A full slate of summer camps from athletic strength and conditioning camp to mystery science camp to guitar camp will be offered at MNU this summer. Envisioned, taught and managed by MNU faculty or coaches, the camps offer affordable enrichment for students from elementary through high school.

Science camp, for example, offers six, one-day camps in June featuring: The Science of House: Solving Medical Mysteries and The Science of CSI: Solving Chemical Mysteries. Students must sign up through their high school science teachers who will also attend and will have full access to MNU’s biology, chemistry and forensic lab facilities as they solve mysteries like the ones seen on major TV dramas. Science teachers from as far as Baldwin City High School have already made plans to bring their students to the camp.

MNU guitar instructor David Smart will hold his Guitar Summer Jam Camp open to all guitar players with at least one year of experience, June 6-9 or 20-22. Participants will learn new skills and jam with other players for four days with Smart who is working on his second CD, all for just $100 including materials.
