Traditional Elementary Education

For traditional undergraduate students, typically 18-22

This elementary education program is designed for undergraduate students—typically 18 years to 22 years—and for any community college transfer student who wants a traditional bachelor’s undergraduate degree. You will graduate with a bachelor of arts in teacher education. An endorsement in ESL is also available. Traditional Secondary Education Programs

For traditional undergraduate students, typically 18-22

These secondary education programs are designed for undergraduate students—typically 18 years to 22 years—and for any community college transfer student who wants a traditional bachelor’s undergraduate degree. You will graduate with a specialized bachelor of arts in teacher education for the secondary education level. An endorsement in ESL is also available. You can tailor your secondary education degree by specializing in: Biology Education, English Language Arts Education, History/Government and Social Studies Education, Mathematics Education, Middle Level Mathematics Education, Middle Level Science Education, Music Education, Physical Education and Speech/Theater Education or request information about any of these traditional secondary education programs.

Accelerated Elementary Education Program

For degree completers

This non-traditional program is designed for a high achieving professional student who wants to change careers quickly. This intensive accelerated program is 18 months long. Work full-time while preparing to complete your degree or licensure in order to become an elementary school teacher. Virtual attendance is an option for anyone more than 45 miles from our Olathe campus. Master of Education (MEd)

For licensed teachers

This graduate-level education program is for licensed teachers who already have a bachelor’s degree and seek an advanced education degree. Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership (EdD)

For doctoral-level professionals

This doctoral-level education program is for working professionals and lifelong learners, seeking to lead in their given profession. In partnership with Olivet Nazarene University, this challenging course of study focuses on ethical leadership, and combines current research with real world experience to provide relevant and rigorous higher learning.
