Notice of Non-Discrimination:

MidAmerica Nazarene University policy prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, age, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, marital status, or disability in the recruitment and admission of students and in the operation of all university programs, activities, and services. Statement of Purpose:

The Box Office for the Bell Cultural Events Center is under the supervision of the Bell Center facility management and will be in operation for any ticketed events (paid or unpaid) to be held in any venue of the Bell Center.

Ticket Purchases: Tickets must be purchased in advance in order to guarantee a seat for a performance and/or event. No unpaid seats will be held for Guests. In order to purchase tickets, Guests may visit the Bell Cultural Events Center Box Office during published open hours. You may also call the ticket line at 913-971-3636. The Box Office will be open 1 1/2 hours before performance curtain time during the academic year unless otherwise posted. Online ticket purchasing is not yet available. Please check our web site for updated information. Payment for tickets may be made by cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).

Ticket Prices and Sales Information: Ticket prices and sales information are listed with each event on our Bell Center web site, www.mnu.edu/events/bellcenter. All tickets may be purchased in advance as indicated above unless specified “available only at the door.” In this case, tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the performance. Currently, all events are general seating unless otherwise noted.

Please inquire at the box office regarding the availability of gift certificates to be used for ticket purchases.

Refunds and Exchanges: Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be exchanged, subject to availability, up to 24 hours in advance. Guests wishing to exchange may do so either in person or by phone.

Accessibility: The Bell Cultural Events Center is accessible to persons with disabilities. The south and east front entrances have no stairs; there are spaces especially left open for wheelchairs, and other easily accessible seating is available. Please contact the Box Office at 913-971-3636 for further information or to make arrangements. The Bell Center is equipped with hearing assistance technology.

Day-of-Performance: The Box Office will open 1 ½ hours prior to curtain on the day of a performance and will close 15 minutes after the start of the performance.

Late Seating: All Guests are required to be seated before a performance begins; late seating will be done at breaks in the performances or during performer designated times.

Theatre Policies: Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the campus of MidAmerica Nazarene University and the Bell Cultural Events Center. Eating and drinking are prohibited inside the Mabee Performing Arts Hall. There are drinking fountains located throughout the facility. All Guests are asked to turn off all cell phones, pagers, beepers, and any other electronic equipment as they may disturb the performers. The video taping and recording of performances is prohibited, unless permission is granted by the User.

Show Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation, announcements will be made through the MidAmerica Nazarene University phone system and web site. Please check the web site for up-to-date announcements.
