Culture-Sensitive Leadership:
A Day With Dr. John M. Perkins
As our nation moves deeper into the 21st Century, pastors and churches face a new frontier of cultural diversity - and this diversity is not limited to the urban core.
Across the spectrum of ministry contexts, pastors are increasingly sensing the need to build bridges to people who do not presently represent the primary make-up of their congregations. There is no denying the challenges of cultural and ethnic diversity, but it also gives the church a powerful Kingdom opportunity!
For every pastor and faith community, 'the harvest is plentiful,' but we as workers require new techniques to reach the fruit around us!
Dr. John M. Perkins has spent a lifetime crossing cultural boundaries and leading ministry efforts to bridge the unintentional gap that limits the outreach of many local churches. We are honored to have Dr. Perkins at MNU for a day of teaching and encouragement, as he talks about Culture-Sensitive Leadership.
Dr. Perkins will speak to pastors who are in the trenches of ministry - and anyone else who desires to be more effective in efforts to reach the hurting and broken people of their community.
