(incoming freshmen and transfer students)
SOAR is an event designed to introduce you to MNU and begin the transition to college life. Anyone interested in attending MNU should come.
What will happen at SOAR?
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Visit the campus and become familiar with resources and services
- Confirm your room assignment and see where you'll be living
- Meet other students, faculty and staff
- Learn about student life, academics, etc.
- Participate in ACT, CLEP, placement tests in reading, English, math and competency exams in computer science, algebra and languages.
- Meet with faculty advisors to discuss academic plans and register for your fall classes.
- Review and finalize financial aid

Freshman, transfer students and parents
Where will we stay?
We encourage you to stay on campus during SOAR to get a feel
for dorm life. Parents are assigned to a different area, so
pack separately. All meals will be provided by the campus food
service.
