MNU Foundation

MidAmerica Nazarene University Foundation has supported MNU students and the ministry of the University for over 25 years. The Foundation was organized and incorporated in 1984 as a Kansas not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of stimulating voluntary private support from alumni, parents, friends, corporations, foundations, and others to assist with strategic funding needs that are outside the scope of normal budgetary planning.

The MidAmerica Nazarene University Foundation is authorized by the University Board of Trustees and exists solely to raise and manage private resources supporting the mission and priorities of the University.

The Foundation is a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) organization and is responsible for identifying and nurturing relationships with potential donors and other friends of the University; soliciting cash; securities; real, personal and intellectual property; and other private resources for the support of the University; and acknowledging and stewarding such gifts in accordance with donor intent and its fiduciary responsibilities.

The MNU Foundation's principle activity is to build, manage and invest the university's Endowment Fund. This fund is invested following carefully considered conservative investment policy to further the University’s mission, and to assure the long-term financial security of the university.

The Foundation also seeks to secure planned and deferred-gift instruments in support of the University. Our professional development staff can assist you with trusts, gift annuities and bequest plans. We look forward to serving you as you make plans for a lasting legacy.
