Sample Bequest Language

Thank you for your interest in naming MidAmerica Nazarene University as a beneficiary in your estate. MidAmerica Nazarene University primarily uses the services of the MidAmerica Nazarene University Foundation to receive estate distributions.  Benefiting the students, programs and services of MidAmerica Nazarene University in your will can be accomplished by either preparing a new will or adding an amendment to your will called a codicil.  In addition, revocable trusts can be amended to incorporate language that reflects your bequest intentions.

Charitable bequests can either be a fixed dollar amount, a gift of a specific property, a percentage of your total estate or a percentage of the residual estate. To ensure that your exact intentions are followed, wills, trusts and codicils should be prepared by your personal legal advisor.
