Presidents Honors Gala at MidAmerica Nazarene University

President's Honors | April 13, 2018

At the 2016 President's Honors, which took place on April 8, donors gave generously and established a new record of $685,000 raised at the event. President Dr. David Spittal addresses the 2016 crowd.

Launched in 2012, President’s Honors has quickly become MNU’s premier event of the year and a vital source of support for the university. President’s Honors is first and foremost a celebration — of God’s faithfulness, of donor generosity, and of all that makes MidAmerica Nazarene University’s mission worthy of unwavering, sacrificial support.

The 2017 President's Honors raised nearly $710,000 for student scholarships, bringing our six-year total to more than $3.2 million through event sponsorships, auction purchases and ticket sales.

Highlights of this special evening include an elegant dinner, thrilling live and silent auctions, unique entertainment, and celebrations of generosity. Alumni and friends join corporate sponsors and community partners to reflect and celebrate the importance of MNU's mission and the difference our students are making around the world.

Drummond1bOur Honorary Co-Chairs, Dr. Bob and Julie Drummond (pictured), led a sold-out audience in honoring the site of our birthplace — the community of Olathe, Kansas — with the inaugural Pioneering Spirit Award in celebration of MNU's 50th Anniversary. By honoring the Olathe community with this award, university leaders recognized the many individuals, businesses and civic leaders whose vision, hard work, and sacrifice made MNU’s first 50 years possible. Olathe Mayor Mike Copeland accepted the award on behalf of the community.

The 2018 President's Honors will be on Friday, April 13. In the meantime, join us in thanking the following sponsors, who helped make this year's event another record-breaking affair:
