Graduate Studies in Education

Life-changing graduate education!

MNU graduate education programs are retooling to better serve educators. Beginning in January 2008 (pending final approval) the Master of Education (M.Ed.) program will unveil a new emphasis in curriculum and instructional leadership.  The Master of Educational Technology (M.E.T.) is designed to help educators develop as leaders of technology integration. M.E.T. graduates will be experts in using technology as a tool for improving achievement and inquiry-based learning.

Select from one of the three master's degrees in education: Master of Arts in Education with a Concentration in Special Education (MASE)*, Master of Education (M.Ed.), or Master of Educational Technology (MET).

We know you want to improve your classroom effectiveness, grow professionally, gain new ideas, develop as a teacher leader, refresh your enthusiasm and increase your earning potential. We also know you are a busy professional with many demands on your time.

M.Ed. and MET Program Features:

  • Accelerated! Complete in five terms.
  • Two convenient start dates: January or June.
  • 30 credit hours (10 focused courses).
  • One night per week during the school year.
  • Concentrated six-week summer sessions.
  • Clear plan of course sequencing.
  • Opportunity to focus your learning.
  • Payment plan (five terms) with no interest.

Program Emphasis
M.Ed. and M.E.T. emphasize professional and personal development in educational leadership. Teaching methods focus on practical application of new knowledge so you can use everything you learn right away in your own classroom!
