Marriage and Family Counseling

For students who want to practice as marital, couple, and family counselors within agency, community, and private practice settings, our marriage and family counseling track will allow graduates to perform effectively in the most challenging of situations.

Families face numerous challenges today such as the, communication across generations, coping as care-givers, blended families, step parenting, and single parenting. Children's issues such as learning difficulties, behavioral problems, adjusting to school, and adolescent peer group problems also present as counseling issues.

Our graduates work in a variety of settings with diverse clients to deal with these issues in a compassionate, professional manner.
