Master of Education

you for your interest in the Master of Educational program at MidAmerica. A Master
of Education degree with emphasis on teacher leader is designed
to meet your needs as a professional educator. We know that you want to improve
your classroom effectiveness, grow professionally, gain new ideas, develop as
a teacher leader, refresh your enthusiasm and increase your earning potential.
We also know that you are a busy professional with many demands on your time.
Some of the program's unique features include:
- Degree completion in only 14 months
- One class night per week during the school year
- Concentrated summer sessions
- Clear plan of course sequencing
- The opportunity to focus your learning on your needs/interests
- Payment plan over the length of the program, with no finance charges
The M.Ed. program is designed for teachers of any grade level or content area. Exciting features of the program include:
- Strengthens professional competencies through study and application of best practices.
- Supports work-embedded, standards-based professional development through coaching, mentoring, and other forms of peer and professional support.
- Enhances skills in planning and providing professional development that supports learning for all students.
- Provides structures in which teachers can develop as leaders.

Formal application including the $75.00 registration fee is the only way to secure your place in the program. Once all the spots are filled, a waiting list will be established for those who are still seeking admission. We wish you the best in the pursuit of your goals.
