- Complete the MNU application.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in content/education courses.
- Valid teaching license (recommended).
- Completion of one admittance survey.
An individual who does not meet regular admission requirements, but who desires to pursue work leading to a Master of Education degree at MidAmerica Nazarene University, may be permitted to enroll conditionally in a limited number of graduate courses. Regular status may be gained after removal of deficiencies and/or completion of acceptable work at MidAmerica Nazarene University of not fewer than six semester hours of graduate study.
All courses are offered in a paperless environment. Students are expected to have a laptop computer and an iPad. Courses are taught using an online Learning Management System and can be offered either online or on-land.
Minimum Technology Requirements
To take advantage of the interactivity of courses, the following minimum system profiles are REQUIRED for students to be successful in the Moodle and iTunes U learning environments:

At least one of the following browsers with Java enabled: Most recent version of Firefox 3.0 (recommended) or Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher (IE has some compatibility issues in Moodle)
It is also REQUIRED that all students have:
a third generation iPad (iPad 3) or higher
Reliable Broadband Internet service
Microsoft Office or Google Docs
Adobe Reader Adobe (free download)
iTunes (free download)
Computer with microphone and speaker for synchronous learning
Headset with microphone (recommended)
