Anthony Kearns, founding member of the Irish Tenors, performed at Bell Cultural Events Center Sept. 15, 2012. He sang a collection of Irish folk tunes in addition to pieces from various operas, including a piece from Carmen. He also performed classical songs, and a show tune—singing a duet with his accompanist (Dale Morehouse, who is impressive in his own right.) You could tell that they were enjoying themselves onstage!Kearns 2

anthonykearnsMr. Kearns has performed in operas and concerts in places such as Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House- often performing as the lead tenor! His experience is quite impressive indeed. It was exciting to have him here at Bell with us, he is a very talented and nice man. Between him and his accompanist, it was a wonderful evening.

The event was well put together and enjoyable, Bell is a fantastic place to view performances! The audience enjoyed the concert greatly--even singing along when Mr. Kearns requested.
