ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. Accreditation status reaffirms the university’s commitment to high quality faculty, challenging academic expectations and student outcomes.
Based on the criteria of the National Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award, ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of the institutional leadership, strategic planning processes, relationships with the community, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials and services, and educational support to determine whether or not the institution offers a rigorous educational experience and demonstrates continuous quality improvement.
“MidAmerica Nazarene University has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Director of Accreditation/CAO Dr. Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Initial Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2015 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, June 14. “This accreditation is evidence that MidAmerica Nazarene is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students.”
MNU Vice Provost Dr. Mark Ford commented on the achievement and its meaning for students and alumni.
“This respected and significant accreditation is validation of MNU's outstanding faculty, student support staff, and academic quality,” Ford says. “ACBSP accreditation offers MNU business programs immediate recognition in the professional business community.”
