Email Account Agreement

• I understand I am responsible for my account and will not let others use my account for any reason. This account is for my personal use only.
• I understand possession of illegal or inappropriate materials is not allowed. This includes any materials in which the nature or reputation would not be in keeping with the building of Christian character or which diminishes moral perceptivity and judgement.
• I understand any attempts to tamper with the computer system are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting to bypass security measures; attempting to use or using another person's account; attempting to intentionally contaminate or damage the computer system with a computer "virus" or with any other means.
• I understand that my account will last until my graduation or until I am no longer officially affiliated with MidAmerica Nazarene University. At that point, I shall be given six months grace period in which to find another Internet service provider. At the end of the grace period, my account will be permanently removed and I will no longer have access to the computer resources at MNU.
• I understand that the office of Information Technology (IT) has the right to monitor and access all accounts to insure system integrity.
• I understand that the office of Information Technology (IT) office has the right to restrict access during normal business hours if traffic becomes too high and by that, puts an undue burden on the computer or network systems.
• I understand that the office of Information Technology (IT) office has the right to modify this agreement at any time and will notify me of the changes.
