Faith and Spirituality at MNU
MNU is a community of Christian faith and learning and we are completely committed to preparing you for a life of purpose. You'll find that our students represent a variety of faith backgrounds and we want you to know that you are welcome here.
Here’s what you can expect in our professional and graduate classes when it comes to faith. It’s not uncommon for our professors to open class in prayer or with a devotional thought. Sometimes students choose to share prayer requests and praises. While that is encouraged, it is not required.
Additionally, we know that our adult students often face challenging situations in life. As a part of our Christian community, you'll be prayed for and supported during your time at MNU. Chaplains often stop by class to greet and encourage students – they are also available for individual meetings, which are always private and confidential. As a student, you can even take advantage of free counseling for a variety of personal and professional situations, utilizing our Student Counseling Center.
Our campus has weekly chapel services which are open to the public and all our students, though they are not a requirement for our professional and graduate students.
If you have any concerns or questions about how we integrate faith and spirituality into our classrooms, please contact Sarah Pickerell, Assistant Chaplain, 913-971-3816, email@example.com and she can answer any of your questions.
