Gifts by Cash, Check or Money Order

Gifts made by check or money order should be made payable to MidAmerica Nazarene University Foundation and mailed along with a printable remittance form indicating how you would like your gift designated (i.e. University Fund, academic department or program, capital campaign, etc.).

Gifts of Securities
In addition to providing a significant gift, donating long-term appreciated securities enables you to avoid potential capital gain taxes and receive a charitable income tax deduction. More about giving securities.

Matching Gifts

Gifts of Real Estate
Gifts of appreciated real estate can have especially attractive tax benefits. Real estate does not have to be donated outright, but can be transferred to a charitable remainder trust to provide you with lifetime income. More about gifts of real estate.

Gifts of Personal Property
Gifts of artwork, antiques, collectibles, rare books, and similar property offer donors income tax deductions.  If you have something to donate, contact the Office of University Advancement.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Memorial and Tribute gifts are a wonderful way to honor a loved one in a significant, lasting way.  When you make a memorial gift in someone’s honor, MidAmerica will send an acknowledgement to the family or to whomever you specify. More about Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships enable you to create an ongoing investment in the University. They also introduce a more personal element since endowed scholarships can carry a family name or can be named in honor or memory of a beloved faculty or family member, and they benefit specific students.

Wills and Bequests
