Urban Youth Ministries Project
2011-2012 Project
Three hundred students, ages 0 – 18, live in the apartment complex. Each week students are turned away and added to a waiting list because there is not sufficient room for them in program. The youth center could more positively and effectively serve the youth of Rosedale Ridge if we had updated and expanded spaces. MNU students have a passion to serve and have comitted to raising $40,000 and have been volunteering at the Urban Youth Center...

Kenya Orphan Care Project
2010-2011 Project > Raised $35,000
MNU is partnering with Nazarene district superintendent, Peter Okinyo, to reach Kiberia, the largest slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Our connection with Rev. Okinyo occurred when an MNU ministry student spent a summer in that region and witnessed the overwhelming need to assist vulnerable children. The Guatemala Project
2009-2010 Project > Surpasses $50,000 goal in less than a year
MNU’s “What If” campaign was based on the premise that “if” the 1,000 faculty, staff, and students each donated $25 per semester, giving only $2 a week, than at the end of the current school year the amount raised would total more than $50,000.
