Advice Session 1 | Studying for FINALS…

Hello friends! So I decided to start a series on my blog!  I am going to be giving advice on miscellaneous subjects throughout the rest of the school year.  My biggest passion in life is giving advice to people… that’s what I’m studying in school!  So not only is this great practice for me, but I also know that I enjoy reading people’s thoughts when they are extremely passionate about it and authentic… And hopefully you can take something away from it! This week I felt it only fitting to talk about… studying.  I know most of us cringe at[…]

Just 2 weeks left!!

So if you’re Jelly that I’m watching The Wolverine and you’re may not, I don’t blame you. It’s rather Leegit 😛   SO to make up for not having any pictures of Jamie and I from last blog that I shared the exciting news of us being a couple, here are 3 pictures of us:   In other news, the high today was 20 degrees. This snow from Thursday is easily still seen around campus! I also still await the day when I can have another dream come true… I mean I have experienced a white Xmas before, but that[…]

Dear Santa,

The taste of the chicken flavor is becoming mundane and you just watched the series finale of Prison Break. This is the most wonderful time of the year for college students who consistently indulge in Ramen Noodles and their roommate’s Netflix. It’s December. Which means: School is out soon Christmas is around the corner Socks with Rudolph on them are socially acceptable As the jolly man in the, simply put, soft-large-red-onesie is fast-approaching, instead of paying attention in class, I daydream of the things on my WANT list. This year that includes: TOMS A phone case Adidas watch Camera tripod[…]

Procrasti-Nation…Have You Joined Yet?

Ahh, the sweet smell of waiting to do nothing. Yup, that’s where I’ve been for the last two weeks. I’ve been talking myself out of endless assignments because if it’s due tomorrow, I’ll do it tomorrow–not joking. I mean, the art of procrastination is an intense skill. I’ve been trying to procrastinate procrastinating, but I’m even failing at that. It’s just that procrastinating has become such a huge part of my life…I’m not sure what my world would be like without it. It would just be weird…you know? So with the help of a few Tumblr Gifs, I can accurately[…]

Going to Juarez, be right back!

Hey blog world! So I spent last weekend in Juarez. Crazy, I know, but it was pretty tranquil and the people were wonderful. I went with my gorgeous friend Taylor. Her grandparents have a branch of Compassionate Ministries, which gives relief to areas in the world through supplies. Normally, they make a trip to Mexico before Christmas to give Nazarene pastors and their families gifts and clothing and other various things in time for the cold, winter season. They have a banquet and there are like 20 pastors from the area with their whole families in a restaurant. Taylor and[…]

Breaks are nice

Hello Friends! This past week was our Thanksgiving break! I got the chance to go home and eat some delicious home cooked meals, catch up with some pretty cool friends, and spend time with my lovely family! My sisters were even waiting for me when I came home, which is pretty awesome to come home to! Here are some pictures to show you guys the things I did this past week! One great thing I got to do was go see Catching Fire! The movie was pretty amazing. I really wish I would have read the books though because I heard from multiple people that if[…]

Thanksgiving in a Nutshell

Hello friends! Classes are up and starting again at MNU after a wonderful Thanksgiving break! We had three different Thanksgivings this year with my family, and I got two of them on camera! This was also my first year going Black Friday shopping… which was an experience to say the least.  Didn’t get much accomplished but I did pick up quite a few movies for our movie nights in the dorm. (If you didn’t know, Walmart has 2 dollar movies! Check it out next year!) So here is just a snippet into my family life over the holiday! I hope[…]
