National Society of Leadership and Success
How boring does the title of this post sound?
I wish I could describe the excitement that comes with this title! Allow me to try.
For the first 3 weeks of my past summer I spent in a classroom learning business statistics. One of the nice things about MNU is the summer courses- you can take a class for a few hours a day and in 3 weeks you’re done with a gen-ed requirement! I digress…
I was in the business office on a break one day getting coffee and a professor asked me if I would be interested in starting “some national leadership organization,” and included that there was a scholarship offered for doing it. Uh… yes please? As an entrepreneur at heart, I loved the idea of starting something while I’m at MNU that would be continued even after I’m gone. So long story short, I went through an extensive interview process, got accepted and then boarded a plane for training. I met 25 other wonderful interns there for training from all over the country. We had a blast and learned about what it means to start a chapter on campus.
When I got back to school, I began seeking out executive board members and advisers.
Ladies and gentlemen of MNU Blogs, I introduce to you, the dream team.
Adviser Ron Jackson
Co-Adviser Dr. Yorton Clark (featured bottom right, pranking my vehicle.)
2013 President Allegra Vieux (me!)
Vice President Stephen Rowell
Secretary Madi Collins
Treasurer Savannah Hoit
….nothing boring about this crew! We are an executive board devoted to leadership and changing the world. We have various chair positions filled as well, but we’ll save those potentially embarrassing pictures for another day at another time.
Over and out!
