Hey guys and girls! We’re running a little late this week due to the hectic homecoming week schedule. Our vlog this week is about some of our favorite memories we’ve made so far and a discovery of a very innovative way of taking out the trash! Thanks so much for watching and ENJOY!
Switzerland was my fourth stop on the way to NTC. It was seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in my entire life. It quite literally takes your breath away. The place that we stayed, when you opened your window you could see the mountains and hear a waterfall. We also took a boat across the crystal clear lake to take a mountain train up Mount Seelisburg and hiked the rest of the way. This is one of the countries that I would go back to in a heartbeat.
Last week we totally forgot to introduce ourselves, so this week we talk more about ourselves and our journeys to MNU. Make sure you watch until the end… Landen is a jerk. Just kidding, he’s awesome!
Hey friends! One of my favorite Netflix original series is back on! Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 is back on Netflix and I could not be more excited! I plan on watching it all this weekend. After doing so I will give you a little review. Season 1 was pretty good. The show is about a a woman who is a survivor of a cult. Kimmy and a few other women were retrieved from a bunker where they lived for over ten years. Kimmy is now out and living in New York City. The show follows her and the friends[…]Read More
Hey everyone! So, if you didn’t know, I’m video editor for The Trailblazer at MNU. This semester, we’re trying something we’ve never done before. We’re launching a video series called “Ask The Trailblazer,” where students can submit anonymous questions regarding anything (yes, anything) about MNU. Then, The Trailblazer chooses questions to find the answers to. The videographers find the right people to interview, and get the answers to the questions you’ve always wondered, or the questions you’re too worried about asking in public. We’re hoping to launch our first video in the next week or so. I’m really excited about[…]Read More
MNU has lots of wonderful ministries that give students the opportunity to go into the community and serve others. To be honest, I’ve been to a few ministries, but haven’t found time in my schedule to regularly commit to attend a ministry. Last week, I was hired to create the MNU Ministries launch video for this Spring 2016. It was such a blessing to me because it allowed me to hear impactful stories from students who have been investing in ministries for a full semester. It’s encouraging to know that there is a group of students at MNU that devote[…]Read More
Recap: Many studies have been done to test the mathematical factors of true love. In this video I talk about a few studies I researched and found interesting. With all religion aside, what’s your best chances of finding the “one”? To watch a few TedTalks on the topic…click HERE…or HERE P.S. I’ll apologize in advance for the dancing at the end. 🙂 I hope every one has a GREAT winter break & spends time with the ones they love.Read More
For those who don’t know, I have a boyfriend that doesn’t go to MNU. Austin attends Saint Mary’s in Leavenworth, KS (the polar opposite direction of Olathe.) Even though I get to see all these happy couples together on campus, sometimes I’m happy that he doesn’t go to the same university as me. One reason being that he is incredibly competitive with me; the other is that “Ring by Spring” is so real it’s scary. Here at MNU, if you sit with a member of the opposite sex 3 or more times, you are automatically considered dating. Oh my. I[…]Read More
