It has taken me awhile to find the perfect topic to blog about since the holidays have taken over, and after a week of thinking about it, I’ve decided to bring in the christian aspects of MNU–because really, that’s what MNU is all about.
My favorite part about MidAmerica is how the community challenges you, and makes you think–especially when it comes to where you stand with Christ.
Sometimes you don’t know where you stand–literally–and you find yourself falling. If anything, I know what it’s like to forget where you belong among many others who believe in the same God that you believe in.
But trust me, DON’T BE FRIGHTENED, dear.
Ha, I know it can be scary, but that is why there are so many people on campus who are literally here to help you.
And if you do feel like you’re going to lose your place, don’t be afraid to find someone to mentor you. There are plenty of people whose lives you’d want to immaculate crawling across the campus grounds. There are small groups, chaplains, resident educators, saints (not kidding), a college youth group, also known as Kairos, residential assistants, and possibly even you roommate!
So, I hope you enjoyed the video, and I pray that you decide to not only get involved with the campus community, but that you get involved with spiritual life as well.
Peace and Love
