MNU's Annie Get Your Gun Opens OCt. 31

Annie Get Your Gun is MNU’s fall musical, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Filled with sharp shooting antics, trick shots and energetic choreography, it’s a real Wild West show.

Based on the real life story of Annie Oakley, this late 1800’s romantic comedy tells the story of Annie as she joins Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Annie, who is the best shot around, falls in love with the shooting ace Frank Butler, who headlines the show. After beating Frank for the show’s main attraction, Frank leaves to join a rival show. Finally, Annie and Frank are pitted against one another for a final shoot-out.

MNU students play the lead roles:

Rebekah Bruton as Annie Oakley, Garrete Stalder as Frank Butler, Steve Libick as Buffalo Bill, and Samuel Crandall as Chief Sitting Bull. Other characters include Amanda Dulny as Winnie Tate, Jacob James as Charlie Davenport, Alexis Gonzalez as Dolly Tate, John Ras as Pawnee Bill, and Sam Deveney as Tommy Keeler.MNU's Annie Get Your Gun Opens OCt. 31

Annie Get Your Gun is presented in one matinee on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for students.
