MNU’s Sullivan Center Hosting Conference With Dr. Gordon MacDonald – Feb. 25Gordon MacDonald resides in Concord, New Hampshire with his wife. Their greatest delight is in their two married children and five grandchildren. Beyond that the MacDonalds are hikers, bikers, kayakers, photographers and vigorous readers.

OLATHE, KAN, -- MidAmerica Nazarene University’s Sullivan Center for Church Leadership is hosting a conference featuring author, speaker and teacher Dr. Gordon MacDonald. The two-day event, which will be held on campus, is focused on personal resilience.

MacDonald, who has been a pastor for over forty years, hopes to highlight themes that speak to how a leader charts his/her course through a lifetime of ministry. McDonald has a passion to create a culture of personal growth and development for younger leaders in the church.

“I am in that stage of life,” he says, “when I feel called to be a spiritual father to a younger generation.”

MacDonald has written over 20 books, and co-authored others with his wife, Gail. Perhaps his best-known title has been Ordering Your Private World, which won the Gold Medallion and the Platinum Awards from the Evangelical Christian Publishing Association.
